When you spend at least eight hours a day working, striving to earn a decent income to support your family, provide for your needs, and (hopefully!) have something left over to fulfill a few desires, it's easy to get caught up in the trap believing that money is what it's all about. Sometimes we need to be reminded why money isn't everything.

While money can help your family to have the things they need and want, money can't give you a family, grow your family, make your family healthy, or even give your family lasting happiness. Family togetherness and love depends on time spent, not money spent.

Sure, money can pay for doctor's visits and prescriptions, but even the wealthiest folks in the world know that money can't buy you health. And money can't replace or remove poor health or disease. Choose nutritious food and go out for a daily walk for exercise. Those two things don't cost a lot and go a long way to "buying" you health.

Money may provide things that can make you happy for a while, but real, lasting happiness can't be bought. It's something that comes from contentment within. Knowledge and confidence in who we are and a purpose in life is true happiness.

You hear people talk about their faith in many different ways, and we do have faith in different things, but have you ever heard anyone claim to have faith in money? While money may give us a sense of security, it can also fail us, and often does.

It's a well known truism that money can buy you a bed, but it can't help you sleep. While money can provide things you need and want, it can't alter your state of mind enough that you have lasting peace. That's something that comes from within and money will never provide.

Regardless of what some may think, money - or acquiring it - isn't the purpose of life. We are taught early on that the love of money is the root of all evil. It's important to read that very carefully; the LOVE of money is the root of all evil, not money. Use money as a tool with which to build a life. Making money your purpose for living is dangerous. Find a purpose in your life that fulfills you and gives your life meaning.

I say these things to bring you to this point. Even though money isn't everything, I have live and learnt the fact that it's all most close. The reason why is simply this. There is nothing in this world that you can do that doesn't involve money. Try to start living without it and see how far you go. You wouldn't get very far now would you? Your creditors would start to take back their things such as cars, truck and homes.

Yes we should cherish our families and respect others, but the way of our society is build around money. Some of us have lots of it and some of us live pay check to pay check. For some reason schools did not focus on it's not how much you make, its how much you keep. Even if you live pay check to pay check, I am one hundred percent sure that money is there somewhere. Maybe we spend on things we really don't need or we don't realize that you don't have to buy something that you know you cannot afford to please people or your family.

If we did a self money evaluation, it would be absolutely clear that there is money somewhere that we can find. I am not saying don't enjoy life, I am saying let's put some money away for a raining day. Let's face it, no one should have to work all there life right. It makes no since to work all your life retire to simply have to keep working. It's Ok to work if you are working because you want to, not because you have to.

No matter what type of saving account you put your money in, just save something and learn to invest your own money as well. Why let the banks and brokers make all the money when we can do it for ourselves. There are many types of investing out there and with a little education; a person can learn how to invest on their own.

Just like you know everything that goes on around your household, we should treat saving money and investing money the same why. I not saying don't let banks or broker invest your money; I am saying to be able to understand what is taking place while they are investing your money. Be able to invest on your own so that you can know what the end results can be without guessing and relying on other to ensure your future as well as your families.

Investing in annuities, mutual funds, certificates of deposits are a good start for someone wanting to invest money on their own. Trading stocks is a totally different ball game and it should be treated as such due to the fact that you can lose money at some point, it is part of the game, but if you have a system that show you how to invest properly, it better your chances of achieving consistent results. The best trading seems to be options trading. Options trading give investor flexibility to place bets on very specific market outcomes. Options give you an enormous amount of leverage on a trade. Trying something new can be very intimidating at first, that's just the truth, but when going into a new venture one should take the time necessary to get better and understand fully.

Developing a trading system require you putting the time in to become good and consistent. You can pay thousands of dollars to get that information at a seminar, but that still could leave you confuse and will not completely understand what is going on. Or, you can get that same information at a slower paste on some internet websites that offer free trial periods, and understand a hold lot better than a weekend seminar.
